College Of Architecture, Planning & Design
Boasts Three Top 10 Programs

Academic Internships

All three academic departments of the College of Architecture, Planning and Design (architecture, interior architecture and product design, and landscape architecture/regional and community planning) maintain active internship programs for academic credit. The programs include a spring/summer internship of 28-30 week duration, taken during the fourth year of the five-year programs. The internship must be paid and is taken for credit. Students may also participate in summer internships of 8-10 weeks. Credit for summer internships varies by department.

The internship programs offer students the opportunity to gain a professional perspective through participation in professional and reflective activities that address educational goals and objectives. Internships also allow employers to preview prospective candidates for employment.

Information for both prospective/current students and for employers may be found on the department internship pages. Student portfolios and resumes are linked to the Employer Information pages.
