How do I get started?
1. Update your eID and CAPD network password with Dereatha Cross in Seaton 012 (CAPD CNS).
2. Perform necessary security upgrades and required network protocol, as mandated by CAPD CNS.
3. Register with Technology Group

4. Pay the base fee of $35.00, due at the beginning of each semester.
(includes a $10.00 credit toward print fees)
5. Connect to the IAPD Technology Group print server and print folder via the network.
6. Download and install any necessary equipment drivers to your local workstation.
How do I submit a payment?
Payments are collected and processed by the Technology Group. Forms of payment accepted are check (with your eID in the memo section) and exact change in cash (in a sealed envelope, with your eID).
How are plotting/printing fees assessed?
The semester base fee is composed by calculating the average annual expense of consumables (ink, paper, toner), maintenance agreements, software upgrades and licenses. This total value is then averaged over 2 semesters, and divided among the enrolled students in the IAPD program (3rd-5th year). This provides the lowest expenditure to each student that using our equipment can allow.
Per-print fees are assessed in linear feet (LF), expressed as a per unit amount which includes paper type (bond, photo, vellum) and ink/toner consumption.
