Exhibit Information

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY

All exhibits must be set up by the event start time and remain in place until the official closing time of DesignExpo.

How to Work Your Display

“Stop Here!!” Your exhibit must send that message in three to six seconds to attract students at DesignExpo. Visual images, color, size of logo, and name all enhance the display. A raised back panel draws the eye. A list of majors of interest to you and sample job descriptions are helpful. Consider adding your employer division to representatives’ name tags to direct students to the right person.

All exhibits, displays and other materials and property of the exhibitor need to be removed upon conclusion of any scheduled interviews.

Each booth consists of one 8’ table in a space 9’ wide, 8’ deep, and 8’ tall, and two chairs. Pipe and black draping will be put in place by the planning committee behind and between booths to provide clear traffic aisles, visual continuity, and some privacy.

All booth spaces will be provided with electricity at no additional charge.  However, please note you must provide your own computers, projectors, vcr’s, tv’s, etc. None are available to rent or borrow from the College, the K-State Student Union, Kansas State University, or from any vendor in Manhattan.

Wireless network access will be provided upon request.

NAILS, TACKS, SCREWS, AND TAPE MAY NOT BE USED ON THE BUILDING WALLS OR PILLARS.

All aisles must be kept clear of exhibit materials. Fire exits must be kept clear at all times. All decorations must be flame proof or of fireproof material.

Exhibitor waives any claim against the DesignExpo Planning Committee, the College of Architecture Planning, and Design, the K-State Alumni Center, the K-State Student Union, Kansas State University, and the State of Kansas and its employees for liability, loss or damage to the exhibitor’s property.
